Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Java Developer with experience working on Microsoft Azure cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on Java programming skills, coupled with practical knowledge of Azure services to design, implement, and optimize cloud-based applications.

As a Java Developer with Azure, you will work in a collaborative environment to build high-performance, scalable, and reliable cloud-native applications using Java and Azure technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications on the Azure cloud platform.
• Work with Azure services such as Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure App Service, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Database, and others.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Java code with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices architectures using Java Spring Boot or other Java frameworks.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and functionalities.
• Ensure the quality and performance of applications by following best practices in Java and Azure development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and development environments.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Java development and Azure cloud services.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience (X+ years) working as a Java developer with expertise in Java 8/11+ and Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, such as Azure Functions, Azure App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Storage, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and others.
• Proficiency in RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab).
• Strong knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and ORM tools like Hibernate.
• Experience with containers (e.g., Docker) and container orchestration using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Azure Active Directory, Azure Key Vault, and security best practices in the cloud.
• Knowledge of version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
