Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining robust and scalable server-side applications using Java, ensuring high-performance, security, and efficiency. You will work closely with frontend developers, database administrators, and other team members to deliver quality backend solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Backend Development: Develop, implement, and maintain server-side applications and services using Java (preferably Java 8+ or the latest version).
• API Development: Design and build RESTful APIs to support frontend applications.
• Database Management: Design, implement, and maintain databases (SQL or NoSQL), ensuring data integrity and performance optimization.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of the backend infrastructure.
• Security and Best Practices: Implement security measures (such as encryption, authentication, and authorization) and follow best practices for clean, maintainable code.
• Collaborative Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including front-end developers, QA engineers, and DevOps) to ensure seamless integration and deployment of backend systems.
• Testing: Write unit and integration tests to ensure the quality of the backend codebase.
• Debugging and Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues in the backend services and infrastructure.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in Java, with experience in Java 8+ or later versions.
• Frameworks and Technologies: Experience with popular Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Java EE.
• Database Technologies: Proficiency in working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• API Design: Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Microservices Architecture: Knowledge of microservices architecture and associated tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) is desirable.
• Testing Frameworks: Experience with JUnit, TestNG, or other testing frameworks.
• CI/CD: Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery/deployment practices.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience working with serverless architectures.
